Foxhole Specs

Last updated

Design Intent

A medium sized pit with some fortifications a player can enter. Players inside have an innate increase to bullet avoid chance while still able to see and shoot normally. This allows foxholes to create a static zone control and become a secure fighting position.

Use Case Evolution

Short

Immediate power advantage against enemies far away through the native bullet protection buff.

Medium

Greater territorial dominance through building upgrades like protective barriers and heavy weapons. Initial weaknesses are minimized.

Long

Larger area and can be connected to trenches. Ally backline operations, resources, and buildings can be closer to the foxhole, becoming an logistical and resource efficient self sustaining stronghold..

Balance
Weaknesses
- Enemy Countermeasures: Close-distance assault, grenades, bomb plants by spies, air strikes
- Overreliance: Becoming too dependent can stagnate the momentum of advancing the frontline further.
-
Strengths
- Frontline control & zoning
- Allow safe space for multiple operations and for operations to be closer to the frontline
